homestay and community issue is very popular in malaysia...community is very important in homestay development...there have some community issue in homestay like relationship between community and travelers.this situation can happen because the travelers will stay at the village..when they meet,they can always chat and acquaintances.
(GOOD RELATIONSHIP) -Living Together program concept or "Homestay Program" is a form of accommodation to the new value. Under this program, travelers will be able to live with host families who are selected and the next opportunity to label how everyday family life and respect cultural Malaysia directly. when we talk about homestay and community issue, i think this very close to the life community of homestay... for me, homestay can Help increase solidarity spirit and understanding among society through tourism activity planned and perform personally by local.. This becoming strong motivator to show agreement strength between people would be vital to achieve one programme have been planned.. Population consider community project are such as they own project..
Homestay make visitors get the unique (one of a kind)oppurtinity to experience the rich and hospitable cultures Sabah and Malaysia.Visitor might be learn about cultures in Malaysia especially if there are on festivals.In Sabah there are many festival had lunch like Keamatan(Harvest Festival) Carnival at the Misomopuru Homestay at Kudat on 23rd May 2009,Sabah Homestay Food Carnival at the Koposizon Homestay Papar, Sabah Homestay Handicraft Carnival at Taginambur Homestay in Kota Belud - July 2009,and Sabah Homestay Bamboo products Carnival at Tambunan Village homestay on August 2009.
beside the culture,the homestay programme also can improve the social of community..because they will born community more proactive and dynamic his thinking..because in his thinking is in order to increase tourists arrival total income and number so that tourism activity village can continue to compete with other activity..so the life quality of community will better..
Homestay need participation, community members support and willingness to ensure programme can be maintained . Among constraint faced was inside public administration centralization tourism; lack of expertise among participant in tourism planning; limited community members capacity because weak finance state and low awareness of their involvement importance; or whether they permitted to follow him or do not even.
Community had control to development because success of the program implemented is dependent in they, and are not depend upon central tourism administration. Knowledge of operation is shared and dispersed to community members. Therefore, related constraint issue knowledge deficit on homestay could be reduced
